Scope & Our Commitment to Privacy

We respect your right to privacy. This Policy describes our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of "Personal Information" (sometimes referred to as "personal data" or "personally identifiable information") in connection with our Services. Personal Information means information that identifies, or can reasonably be linked to, an individual person, such as a name, email address, payment-related data, or device identifier when associated with you.

By using our Services, contacting us, or otherwise interacting with us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you provide us with information about another person, you confirm that you have their consent or other legal authority to do so.

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us, the Services you use, and the choices you make. We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and profile information: Such as your name, username, email address, password or authentication credentials, language or region, and any profile details you choose to provide when you create or manage an account in our apps, join a subscription, or sign up for communications.
  • Purchase and payment information: When you make a purchase (for example, a subscription or in-app purchase), billing and payment data are processed by third-party providers such as Apple, Google, Stripe, or other payment processors. We may receive limited information related to your transactions (such as transaction identifiers, subscription status, product purchased, country, and the last four digits of a card or masked payment account) but we do not receive or store full payment card numbers from these providers.
  • Device and app information: Operating system, app version, device type and model, system language, time zone, device identifiers (such as advertising identifiers where permitted by your device settings), app settings, and similar technical data to support compatibility, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Usage and diagnostics information: Depending on the product and your choices, we may collect information about how you use our apps and Services, such as feature usage, interaction events, app performance, crash logs, error reports, language preferences, and referral/installation information. Where possible, and in particular for sensitive services, we seek to collect this data in a de-identified or aggregated manner.
  • Log and network information: Our servers may automatically record certain information when you access or use our Services, such as IP address, dates and times of access, app/website requests, and device and browser characteristics. For certain privacy-sensitive offerings (for example, some VPN products), we are designed to avoid logging information that would associate your specific online activities with your identity. For other products, we may collect limited logs as needed to operate the service, combat abuse, and ensure security.
  • Location information: We may derive general location information (such as country or city) from your IP address, billing information, or device settings. Some apps may request or use more precise location data (for example, to provide localized content or comply with local legal obligations); where required, we will request your permission before doing so.
  • Communications and support: If you contact us (for example, by email or through in-app support), we may collect your contact details, the content of your message, and any other information you choose to provide so we can respond to you and improve our support.
  • Information from third parties: We may receive information about you from third-party platforms, such as app stores, sign-in providers (for example, Apple or Google sign-in), analytics partners, or marketing and referral partners, in accordance with their terms and your settings with them.

In all cases, the specific information collected may vary between products, and we will endeavor to explain any material differences in product-specific notices where appropriate.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes (and, where applicable, on the legal bases described in the section "Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)" below):

  • Provide and maintain the Services: To operate our apps and websites, create and manage accounts, provide the features you request, process transactions, and provide customer support.
  • Secure and protect our Services and users: To monitor and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Secure Lab Solutions, our users, and others.
  • Improve and develop new features: To understand how our Services are used, fix bugs, perform analytics and research, and develop new products, services, and features.
  • Personalize your experience: To customize content and settings (for example, remembering your language preferences) and provide recommendations or in-app messages that may be of interest, in accordance with your preferences and applicable law.
  • Communicate with you: To send you service-related messages (such as transaction confirmations, support responses, security alerts, and changes to our terms or policies) and, where permitted, optional marketing or promotional communications (which you can opt out of at any time).
  • Comply with legal obligations: To meet legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our agreements.

We do not use information collected in connection with privacy-sensitive products (for example, VPN traffic data where we have designed systems to avoid logging such data) for the purpose of building marketing profiles or selling your personal information.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing personal data, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: When processing is necessary to provide the Services you requested, such as to create and manage your account, operate the apps, or process purchases.
  • Legitimate interests: When processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests (for example, to secure and improve our Services, perform analytics, or prevent fraud) and those interests are not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.
  • Consent: When we ask for your consent to process your information for a specific purpose (for example, certain optional analytics, marketing, or use of cookies where required by law). You can withdraw your consent at any time as described in this Policy.
  • Compliance with legal obligations: When processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.

We Do Not Sell Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information to third parties for advertising or other commercial purposes. We do not share your VPN usage or browsing data with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for their marketing.

Sharing of Information

We do not share your Personal Information except: (1) with service providers who help us operate the Services (e.g. payment processors, hosting providers, customer support platforms, analytics or crash reporting services, marketing providers, and other vendors) under contractual obligations to use the data only as necessary to provide services to us and to protect your information; (2) when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to respond to lawful requests from public and governmental authorities; (3) when we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Secure Lab Solutions, our users, or others; or (4) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, in which case your information may be transferred as part of the transaction subject to appropriate safeguards and any required notices.

We do not provide information from our privacy-sensitive products (such as any VPN offerings that are designed to avoid logging your browsing history or DNS queries) to advertisers or data brokers for their independent marketing purposes.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We and our partners may use cookies, software development kits (SDKs), web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to operate our websites and apps, remember your preferences, perform analytics, and in some cases provide interest-based advertising in accordance with applicable law.

You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser or device settings and, where applicable, through consent banners or in-app settings. Disabling certain cookies or similar technologies may affect the functionality of some features of the Services.

Product-Specific Practices

Because we offer multiple apps and Services, the specific data practices can vary by product. Where necessary, we will provide additional in-app, in-product, or website notices that describe product-specific data practices. Examples include:

  • VPN and network security products: These products are designed with strong privacy protections and, where applicable, are engineered to avoid logging your browsing history, DNS queries, or specific traffic content in a way that would allow us to associate that activity with your identity.
  • Utilities and productivity apps: These products may collect different categories of usage or diagnostic data in order to function (for example, system information required to optimize device performance) in accordance with this Policy and any in-app explanations.
  • Beta or experimental features: When you opt into experimental features or beta programs, additional data may be processed to help us test and improve those features. We will explain any material differences in the relevant notices.

If there is ever a conflict between this Policy and a more specific data notice for a particular product, the more specific notice will govern for that product or feature.

Security & Data Protection

We use technical, organizational, and physical measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable. For particularly sensitive services, we design systems to minimize or avoid logging activity data that could associate your online activity with your identity. No system is 100% secure; you provide information at your own risk, and we encourage you to use a strong password, enable any available security features (such as multi-factor authentication, where offered), and keep your account details secure.

Data Retention

We retain your account and related Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and comply with law. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, except where we must retain it for legal, audit, or dispute resolution purposes. We do not retain any activity logs for privacy-sensitive products beyond what is necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the Services, in accordance with this Policy and any applicable product-specific notices.

Aggregate & Anonymized Information

Personal Information does not include "aggregate" information. In other words, information about how you use a service, or the results of such use, may be collected and combined with similar information others, but no Personal Information will be included in the resulting data. You understand that we may commercialize aggregate information by any and all means, and that you will receive no payment or other consideration in respect of such use.

Third-Party Services & Tracking

We may use third-party services (e.g. Mixpanel, analytics, support tools) that process limited data to help us operate and improve the Service. These providers are bound by contract to protect your data and cannot use it for their own advertising.
